After a dismal start to the season and an average performance in the champions’ league group stage Real Madrid find themselves in a tight spot as they are set to face the Rampant Fire Power of the star studded saints of Paris PSG’s Neymar, Mbappe and Cavani. To add more salt to the wound Borussia Dortmund manager Peter Bosz says the galacticos aren’t a strong team and does not rate them to be among the favorites despite his side being knocked out of the champions’ league by Real who finished in second place to qualify for the knock out stage.

The BVB lost 3-2 to the defending champions, who won the Champions League back-to-back over the past two seasons, and were consequently knocked out of the competition. Borja Mayoral opened the scoring for Real and Cristiano Ronaldo doubled the lead five minutes later. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netted a brace to level matters, but Lucas Vazquez scored the winner in the 81st minute.

Here are The Dortmund Mangers comments below

“After today’s game, I don’t know if it is possible to say that Real Madrid are the favorite to win the Champions League,” Bosz told his press conference, according to FourFourTwo.

“They were not very strong tonight.

“Although, it is true that they rested many players and they are one of the favorites.”

“We wanted to continue in the Champions League,” he added. “Now we will put everything we have into the Europa League.

Despite Bosz’s comments Real Madrid are not yet out of steam and have won two trophies this season after triumphing Barcelona 5-1 on aggregate in the Super Cup and Gremio 1-0 yesterday to clinch the Club world cup championship in the UAE.
